While the previous conference (entitled ‘A Sea Change for Sustainable Ocean Resource Governance’) focused on the aspect of sustainability, HIELC 2019 aims to develop, or link respectively, ‘sustainable maritime governance’ to ‘responsible maritime governance’ by addressing topics as Green/Responsible Shipping, Port State Responsibility and Resource Responsibility. High ranking academics and practitioners will highlight crucial aspects in their presentations, which are to be followed by discussions. The online registration is now open!
